Work @ Pearson: Evolving to a design led culture
Pearson is an educational company that for years has catered primarily to the needs of the Instructors and Administrations. My team, consisting of 7 designers, in collaboration with UX research, learning design, prototyping and UX writing, uniquely focus on the student. It is our goal to create a compelling, modern experience that compels our student users and ultimately increases Pearson’s brand.
My responsibilities at Pearson include facilitating design workshops, managing design sprints, maintaining a UX focused backlog across 5 different workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders on need finding, managing the careers of the designers on my team, concept and wireframe design - for both web and mobile. While the work we have done has been exhaustive, this page will touch on the greatest hits.
